As of March 1, 2010 we began billing the entire RWD 3, Rogers Co. District
We have begun placing automatic read meters in the ground. We currently have approximately 900 installed but it will take time to install almost 8,000. Until youreceive the notice on your front door that your new meter has been installed or the little gray box on the lower, right portion of your stub disappears, you will have to continue to read your meter each month.

NEW BILLING PROCEDURES FOR ALL WHO HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE NEW AUTO READ METERS :
You no longer have to do any calculations, (the pink coupon books are no longer valid). When you receive your bill each month pay the amount due on the bill and turn in a current reading to generate your next month's bill. When paying by mail, enter your meter reading on the stub of your bill and return the stub
with your payment. When paying online, you may enter your
reading online with your online payment. If you are enrolled in Auto
Pay all you have to do is make sure you turn in a reading no later than the19th of each month. You have 3 options to submit your reading each month, they are as follows:
*IMPORTANT REMINDER!!! If you still have to read your own meter, you MUST submit a reading each month to avoid the District from estimating your usage to generate your bill. The District estimating your reading for two consecutive months will result in the District reading your meter and a $40 meter read fee.

If you are tired of the monthly hassle of keeping up with your bill we are very happy to be able to offer you a FREE & EASY option of AUTO PAY. The bill will serve as a notice of how much will be deducted out of your bank account on the 10th of each month.

2.Bills are due on the 1st,
late after the
16th.
3.Payments MUST be RECEIVED in the
office by the
16th of the due month.(NOT
postmarked!)
4.If the bill is not paid by the 15th
day of the second billing cycle the account is subject to be locked
off.
5.If self read customers do not turn in
a reading
for their next bill we will estimate for them.When
the bill
has been estimated, by us, for 2 consecutive months, we will
physically
read the meter and the customer
will be charged a $40 read fee.
6.When a meter has been locked for 30
days the
owner will be sent a certified Forfeiture letter.
