Billing Guidelines |

As of March 1, 2010 we began billing the entire RWD 3, Rogers Co. District We
have begun placing automatic read meters in the ground. We currently
have approximately 2,200 installed but it will take time to install
almost 8,000.
You will have to continue to read your meter each month until you receive your new auto read meter. There are 3 ways to determine whether or not you have your new meter:
- You will receive a notice on your front door.
- The little gray box on the lower, right portion of your stub disappears.
- The red message; "YOU DO NOT HAVE A NEW AUTO READ METER YET" will no longer be on your bill and will be replaced with the water usage graph. *Note: The first bill, after receiving your auto read meter, will not have a graph, due to no usage history on the new meter yet.
****************************** NEW BILLING PROCEDURES FOR ALL WHO HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE NEW AUTO READ METERS :
You no longer have to do any calculations, (the pink coupon books are no longer valid). When you receive your bill each month pay
the amount due on the bill and turn in a current reading to generate
your next month's bill. When paying by mail, enter your meter reading
on the stub of your bill and return the stub
with your payment. When paying online, you may enter your
reading online with your online payment. If you are enrolled in Auto
Pay all you have to do is make sure you turn in a reading no later than the 19th
of each month. You have 3 options to submit your reading each month, they are as follows: 1. Enter it online in the "Enter Meter Reading" link. 2. Call it into the office, 341-0851. 3. Email it by clicking on Contact Us
and send it to customerservice@rwd3rogers.com
or billing@rwd3rogers.com. You may also reply to the monthly "Courtesy Notice" email but if you choose to do that PLEASE don't forget that it is a MASS
email and we won't know who's account to post the reading to if you
don't include your name, address or, preferably, account number. Please include your account number in ALL correspondence!
*IMPORTANT REMINDER!!! If you still have to read your own meter, you MUST
submit a reading each month to avoid the District from estimating your
usage to generate your bill. The District estimating your reading for
two consecutive months will result in a $40 fee.

If you are tired of the monthly hassle of keeping up with your bill we are very happy to be able to offer you a FREE & EASY option of AUTO PAY. The bill will serve as a notice of how much will be deducted out of your bank account on the 10th of each month. ** PLEASE DO NOT TAMPER WITH THE ELECTRONICS IN THE METER BOX!!!! ** ******************************NEW BILLING PROCEDURES
- Billing goes out the last week of
each
month.
- Bills are due on the 1st,
late after the
16th.
- Payments MUST be RECEIVED in the
office by the
16th of the due month. (NOT
postmarked!)
- If the bill is not paid by the 15th
day of the second billing cycle the account is subject to be locked
off.
- If self read customers do not turn in
a reading
for their next bill we will estimate for them. When
the bill has been estimated, by us, for 2 consecutive months, a $40 fee will be assessed to the customer.
- When a meter has been locked for 30
days the
owner will be sent a certified “Forfeiture letter”.
