Low Water Pressure Concerns

Low Water Pressure Concerns

SUMMER IS HERE!!!!

As the weather conditions get hotter the heat places a huge demand on our water supply system.  You may experience low pressure because of the high water usage due to dinner preparation, laundry, car washing, bathing, landscape and garden watering.

We are asking for you to help conserve water by considering the following:

  •  Do not wash vehicles.
  • Wait until late nights or very early mornings for laundry.
  • Cut down as much as possible on landscape and garden watering. If you must, use only what is absolutely necessary and wait until late night or early morning.

Watering during late night or early mornings when conditions are cooler allows for more efficient watering.  There is less evaporation, therefore more water will go to the plants.  You may find you will water for a shorter period of time and use less water, therefore saving you money on your water bill.
